DROP FTTH INDOOR CABLE
- Overview
- Specifications
- Features & Benifits
Fiber to the X (FTTX) comprises the many variants of fiber optic access infrastructure. These include fiber to the home (FTTH), fiber to the premise (FTTP), fiber to the building (FTTB), fiber to the node (FTTN), and fiber to the curb or cabinet (FTTC).
Fiber to the Home Technology provides an easy and the best solution for providing High Bandwidth and High Speed from Central Office to a different residence and corporate customers. FTTH Drop Cables are mainly used for the last mile applications within premises and from FDH/splitting units to customer premises outside of the buildings. It is manufactured according to international standard and these cables fully conform to PTCL Standard Specification TR-109 as applicable in Pakistan.
Applications:
The FTTH Drop Cables are designed for Indoor Applications. These are mainly used for the last mile applications within premises and from FDH/splitting units to customer premises outside of the buildings.
Cable Constructions:
The Single Mode Optical Fiber as per ITU-T G.657 fibers are placed in the center, Two Parallel Strength Members (FRP) are placed at the two sides, the cable is then completed with LSZH sheath having a notch to tear the cable and expose the fibers.
Technical Characteristics
- Low Weight
- Easy to install & joint
- Flame Retardant Low Smoke Zero Halogen Sheath
