The FTTH Drop Cables are designed for Indoor
Applications. These are mainly used for the last mile
applications within premises and from FDH/splitting
units to customer premises outside of the buildings
The Single Mode Optical Fiber as per ITU-T G.657
fibers are placed in the center, Two Parallel
Strength Members (FRP) are placed at the two
sides, the cable is then completed with LSZH sheath
having a notch to tear the cable and expose the
fibers.
